Hello,
I am trying to see if I can change the reference style to a style that is not listed? I need CSE in list style. Or, can someone tell me how to edit the reference paper to the format I need.
Thanks,
Erv
Is there a way to change the reference style in an existing document? I know how to choose a style using the dropdown box, but that seems to have no affect on a document I’ve already begun in the other style.
Yo have to go in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\Bibliography\Style
Here you find the different STYLES with .XML extensions
You can open it dragging the file.xml in a text editor like WORDPAD.
Then you can modify the STYLE.
I think this affect the document you ve already begun
There must be >500 lines of code for this file! Isn’t there an easier way to modify the Bibliography style so that we get exactly what we want according to the journal where we’re publishing?
Don’t try to change the style in the References Tab. Change the style in the EndNotes tab.
