How to disable opening an app automatically at login in Mac

In this tutorial let us see the steps for removing apps from Mac startup.

  • Launch System Preferences from by clicking the apple icon
  • Under System Preferences, click “Users & Groups”
Users & Groups
  • Navigate to Login Items tab and select the App that you want to remove from automatically opening during login.
Login Items
  • Click the minus sign at the bottom.

Now after restarting Mac, the app will not open automatically.
