Enable automatic downloading of pictures in Outlook

Pictures as part of email messages are not downloaded automatically in Outlook 2016 and 2013. You could see a message that says “Right click here to download the pictures. To help protect your privacy, Outlook prevented automatic download of some pictures in messages”

But if you are going to receive email messages from trusted source and want to enable automatic downloading of pictures then you can follow the below mentioned steps.

Step 1: Click the File menu and select Options from available menus.

Step 2: In the Outlook options window, click the Trust Center tab.

Step 3: Navigate to Microsoft Outlook Trust Center section and click Trust Center Settings.

Step 4: Click the Automatic Download option and unmark the check box with caption as “Don’t download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items”

Step 5: Click Ok button to confirm and save the changes.

How to turn off the reading pane in Outlook 2013 & Outlook 2010

Outlook 2013 & Outlook 2010 have reading pane which displays the email details when we browse through the messages. This reading pane can be positioned either to the right or bottom of the email list.

A Sample message displayed in Reading Pane is shown below

If you want to turn off the reading pane using the Options available as part of View menu. Navigate to View menu then to the Layout section.

In the Layout section, click the down arrow available below the Reading Pane and select Off from the list of available menus.

By this way you can hide the reading pane in Outlook 2010.

How to archive Email messages in iPad 2

Email accounts configured in iPad 2 allows user to archive the email messages. you can turn on the archive feature using iPad Mail settings. The archive email message option will be available when you touch and swipe on the email message or if you tap the trash icon.

The above screenshots shows that archive message feature is disabled for the configured email account. To enable archiving for the email account, from iPad home screen tap the settings icon. In the Settings screen, navigate to Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings and then select email account to turn on archiving of email messages.

In the select mail account, navigate to Archive Messages section.

Tap and swipe Archive Messages to turn on the feature as shown below.

Now when you swipe on any email message the Archive option will be shown as shown below.

How to change the number email messages displayed in Yahoo mail

The number of email messages displayed per page in a Yahoo email can be changed using the Mail Options. Click on the Options link available on the top of the right hand side. Select Mail Options from the menu list.

In the General Page, using the Messages/results per page field you can increase or decrease the number of email messages displayed per page.

After selecting the required value, click on the Save Changes link available on Top of the General section. By this way you can change the display of email messages per page in Yahoo Mail.
