How to print black and white in Word

All programs do not provide option to choose the colour for printing pages. Word 2016 and Word 2013 users can print their coloured document in black and white using the option available as part of the Printer properties.

Step 1: Click the Fie menu and select Print from menu list.

Step 2: Navigate to Printer section and click the Printer Properties.

Step 3: In the Printer Properties window, click the Paper/Quality tab.

Step 4: Navigate to Colour section and mark the radio option with caption as Black & White. Then click OK button to confirm and save the changes.

Print list of emails in Outlook

We know how to quickly print an email message in Outlook 2016, 2013 & 2010. And in this tutorial we will be seeing the steps required for printing the list of emails in Inbox or any folder. This would be quite useful when you have daily task schedule meeting with your team and the tasks for each individual is allocated based on the emails received for that day.

Click the File menu and select Print from the menu list.

Then navigate to Settings section and select Table Style from the list. This would only print heading information of the emails as displayed on your Inbox.

In case if you want to include other columns in the list then you can use the View –> Change View Settings to pick the desired columns.

How print only notes in PowerPoint

We had seen the steps for adding notes in PowerPoint and now we will see how to print only notes in PowerPoint 2016, 2013 and 2010. The default print settings in PowerPoint is set to full slides and you can change this using the Print option.

Click File menu and then the Print menu option.

In the Print screen, navigate to Settings section then option with the arrow pointing downwards and label as Full Page Slides.

By selecting Notes Pages for Print Layout will print only the notes added for the slides.

Default Print Settings

If you want to change the default Print Layout for the presentation to Notes Pages then you can do the following.

Click File menu then Options link and in the Options window navigate to Advanced option.

Scroll down to “When printing this document” section and select the radio option Use the following print settings and set the value for Print what to Notes. Click Ok button to confirm and save the changes.

How to change page scaling in Xcode

Xcode provides option to increase or decrease the page scaling. This page scaling option is available as part of the Page Setup. This feature is quite useful when you want reduce the number of pages used for printing any Objective-C code.

The default page scale is set to 100% and you can change this by following the below mentioned steps.

Click File menu and select Page Setup from the menu list.

This should display the following Page Setup screen.

Navigate to the Scale option and change the default value from 100% to say 50%. Then click OK button to confirm and save the changes. Now when you go to print preview screen (Xcode File menu -> Print), you should notice the effect of reduced Scale changes.
